How far in advance should I place my order?

It's never too early to book! I typically book 2–3 weeks in advance, but availability depends on the time of year and the complexity of your cookie design. Holiday seasons and popular weekends tend to fill up quickly, so I recommend submitting your request as soon as you know your event date.

Please note that I must know the theme of your event before confirming availability, as some custom designs require significantly more decorating time than others.

How do I place a custom order?

To get started, submit a Custom Order Request through the form on my website. Once I confirm my availability, I'll send you a detailed custom order questionnaire so I can gather all the sweet details about your event.

After we've finalized your design, quantity, pricing, and pickup details, I'll email you an invoice to pay in full by credit card. Once payment is received, I will begin your order.

Is a deposit required?

No - You are required to pay the invoice in full by credit card before I start your custom order.

How much do custom cookies cost?

Because every order is unique, pricing varies based on the number of colors, design complexity, and decorative details.

Starting prices are:

• 3–4 color custom sets: Starting at $60 per dozen

• 4+ color custom sets: Starting at $80 per dozen

• Elaborate or highly intricate designs: Starting at $100 per dozen

Final pricing will be provided once your custom design has been discussed.

What kinds of cookie designs do you create?

Almost anything! I love bringing your ideas to life.

The more details you provide, the better! While inspiration photos are always welcome, every Stories in Sugar cookie set is handcrafted and designed specifically for you. Final designs may vary slightly in shape, color, and artistic style.

Where are you located?

Stories in Sugar is located in Folsom, California.

All custom cookie orders are pickup only in Folsom, CA.

Do you deliver?

At this time, I do not offer delivery.

Do you ship cookies?

Currently, Stories in Sugar does not offer shipping.

If you choose to ship the cookies yourself after pickup, I'm happy to provide packaging recommendations. However, Stories in Sugar cannot assume responsibility for broken or damaged cookies once they leave my possession.

Are your cookies made in a home kitchen?

Yes. All Stories in Sugar cookies are made in a licensed California Cottage Food home kitchen.

Please be aware that my kitchen regularly handles common food allergens, including (but not limited to):

• Dairy

• Eggs

• Wheat (gluten)

• Tree nuts

While I take great care during the baking process, I cannot guarantee that my cookies are free from cross-contact with allergens.

What is your cancellation policy?

For csutom orders, I will issue a refund (less processing and transaction fees) if I have not yet started on your order.

Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued once your cookies have been baked.

How long does it take to receive a response?

Please allow two to three business days for a response to your inquiry. I personally review every custom order request to ensure I have availability before accepting new orders. Thank you!
